Adjacent to the implementation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) on the platform, we have taken additional steps to enhance the security against potential data breaches by introducing a Secure mode in the Data Science Studio.

Upon enabling Secure mode, several protective measures are enacted:

• The ability to download files via VSCode is disabled to prevent unauthorized data extraction;
• A temporary, isolated home directory is provided for each participant, ensuring that their work environment is segregated from other activities; and
• All shared datasets are set to automatically erase following the end of the activity, thereby minimizing the risk of sensitive information being inadvertently retained or accessed.
