We have always prioritized a seamless onboarding process. Based on insights from qualitative user testing, we identified opportunities for improvement and have developed a completely revised onboarding process. This new process strikes a balance between preserving user autonomy, creating rich user profiles for an enhanced app experience, and providing a clear, step-by-step guide for user comfort.

Feedback on this new version has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have now implemented it throughout our user base.

User Choice in Profile Completion

Unlike many web applications, we offer users a true, well-informed choice between completing their profile or skipping this step entirely. This best respects user autonomy and presents clear options without forcing a decision.

Guided Profile Creation

For users who choose to complete their profile, the process is then fully guided. Users can easily skip sections or entire steps and preview their card before finalising their profile.
